Personal History

For the past twenty years, I have been giving private and group pitching lessons to hundreds of athletes in the Chicagoland area.  I have been fortunate to work with amazing and dedicated athletes who continue to make great strides in life, academically, athletically and mentally. My teaching philosophies prepare my students to learn the proper technique and mechanics of pitching.  Once they have mastered the foundation, I prepare them to participate in the game, stay committed to their goals, and continue to progress to the next level. Through my system of nurturing, mentoring and building a solid foundation of skills necessary to compete at any level, I will provide your athlete with the preparation they need to be a successful softball pitcher.

After taking lessons when I was a freshman in high school, I fell in love with pitching and haven’t stopped since. My high school career was full of memorable experiences including aiding my team down state, to our first conference championship in addition to regional and sectional championships.  I was fortunate to receive county 1st team honors, player of the year and lead statistically in my region for Wins, ERA and Strikeouts.  In college, I played for a competitive team whose teammates shared the same vision of hard work, commitment and the desire to win. My own experiences do not vastly compare to the remarkable strides and accomplishments that several of my students have acquired.

Some of my accomplishments include:

High School Driscoll Catholic 90-94

4 Year Varsity Starter

3 Year All Conference

2 Year Daily Herald All Area First Team

Press Publications Player of the Year

North Central College 94-99

All Conference

Pitcher of the Year 99

All American Scholar Athlete

My commitment to my girls goes beyond the physical and mechanical aspects of the pitching foundation.  I continue to better myself in order to be a role model to my students and share my love of health and fitness, as well as my education background in Exercise Physiology.  As a 7 time Marathon Finisher, Two time Triathlete and Two time NPC body builder, I have been through many realms of fitness and continue to utilize my educational and personal experiences to aid my softball students. Additionally I am the mother of 3 beautiful children with my fourth on the way.

I currently teach over 60 students privately and over 100 in a group environment.  Many of my students continue to play at the collegiate level from D1, NAIA , D2 and D3 schools.  Please check out the lesson page for more info on availability.
